Contacts : Thierry Gacoin (head of the group)
Chemistry group activities are involved in the Material Science area. Our interests are more precisely in synthesis, structural characterization and physical properties of inorganic or organic/inorganic hybrid materials, prepared from molecular precursors in solution. These materials have the particularity of showing a nanometric microstructure that leads to original physical properties we study, often for a specific application. Our materials are mainly in the form of nanoparticles, thin films or massive monoliths, amorphous or cristallized.
Our group is part of the 15th section of the National Comitee of the CNRS.

| Organic-mineral interface | Heterostructures and multifunctional systems |
Collaborations :
Our team is in continuous contact with chemists, chemico-physicians and physicians academic partners. A strong part of our subjects are linked to a practical application, tightly linked to the industry
Students stay possibilities :
The group hosts graduate, PhD and Post-Doc students along the year. We publy here several subjects, however feel free to contact us to post an application.
PhD, internships and post-docs
