Photonic Crystal Group
Welcome to the Photonic Crystal Group home page !
Our group is located at the Ecole Polytechnique and is part of the Condensed
Matter Physics Laboratory. The group was founded in 1995 by Claude Weisbuch
and headed by him since then. We are generally interested by the fundamental
properties and applications of photons and electrons in confined structures.
Our research activities include photonic crystals, integrated optics, light
extraction. Claude Weisbuch is also interested in cavity polaritons.
