In both formulas, the factor (2n+1) is missing in the denominator (it comes from the normalization of the Legendre polynomials).

page 1111, the following statement after Eq. (153) is misprinted and thus erroneous:
It is clear now that the matrix in large square brackets is real valued as the product of two matrices, one of them being the complex conjugate of the other.
The correct phrase should sound:
It is clear now that the diagonal elements of the matrix in large square brackets are real valued as the later is the product of two matrices, one of them being the complex conjugate of the other.
Note that the statement about odd moments for antisymmetric profiles remains valid for the uniform initial density. It may however be false for nonuniform densities when other elements are involved.

A recurrent (minor) error of conventional matter
The sign of the magnetic-field term in the Bloch-Torrey equation (9) or (134) does not correspond to the sign of the phase in definition (2) or (53) of the characteristic function. In fact, the equation (134) corresponds to E{exp(-iq\phi)}, not to E{exp(iq\phi)}.
This error came from the conventional writing of the Bloch-Torrey equation and the characteristic function. It does not affect any result related to the even-order moments.
