I am currently pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Thierry Gacoin and Jongwook Kim, since October 2019. My work is about the synthesis, the better understanding of optical properties and the elaboration of thin films of highly doped semiconductors nanocrystals. By playing on their shape or doping level, they show tunable plasmonic properties located in the near infrared, which matches with a significant part of the solar spectrum. Therefore, these semiconductor nanocrystals find applications in glazing for solar control.
