After obtaining a master’s degree in Materials Science at the University of Bordeaux (2013), I did a PhD in Physics at the University of Paris-Saclay (2013-2017) between two labs, the Groupe d’Etude de la Matière Condensée (GEMaC) and the Laboratoire d’Etude des Microstructures (LEM). My research work, integrated in the European project "Flagship Graphene", focused on the fundamental optical properties of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN), a lamellar semiconductor with a large bandgap (6 eV) and a high potential for light-emitting applications in the deep UV.

I then did a postdoc in the team of Pr. Richard Martel at the University of Montreal (2017-2022). My main activity focused on the spectacular effects of the strong optical anisotropy in black phosphorus, another lamellar semiconductor.

I joined in summer 2022 the Electrons-Photons-Surface (EPS) team at the LPMC as a post-doctoral teaching assistant in the Physics Department of Ecole Polytechnique. I study the effects of disorder-induced electronic localization in semiconductor alloys.
