I completed my Ph.D. in Materials Science, where I developed a multiscale numerical model for solidification called Cellular Automaton - Parabolic Thick Needle (CAPTN) model. This model simulates dendritic grain growth based on the composition field.
Following my Ph.D., I began my first postdoctoral position in PMC, working with Thomas Philippe on multi-dimensional nucleation theory. Our two-variable nucleation model, which considers both cluster size and density as variables, made quantitative predictions of nucleation rate and other related properties.
Currently, I am in my second postdoctoral position in PMC, continuing my work on nucleation. My focus will shift towards molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to investigate the mechanism of nucleation, particularly the two-step nucleation from vapor to liquid to crystal.
