Solveig S. Aamlid is a newly appointed Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Physics Department of Ecole Polytechnique and the Materials for Society (M4S) Interdisciplinary center of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. She completed her PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and her postdoctoral work at the University of British Columbia. Her scientific work concerns disordered materials such as high entropy oxides, specifically on the computational prediction of the thermodynamic stability as well as the synthesis and structural characterization of these new phases
