Visit of Tamas Pusztai at PMC

publié le

From june 1st through 24th Tamas Pusztai will be at PMC as a visitng scientist, financed by the DER of Ecole polytechnique. Tamas works at the Wigner Research Center for Physics in Budapest (Hungary). He is a well-known specialist for phase-field modeling of materials, and collaborates with PMC since many years, especially with Mathis Plapp, Hervé Henry and Thomas Philippe (several joint publications). During his visit, we plan to work on questions that have remained open in our previous common projects : the development of phase-field models for multi-phase polycrystals, the growth of stoichiometric compounds, and the solidification of peritectic alloys.
