On June 12, 2026, Thomas Philippe successfully defended his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR), entitled Dynamics of First-Order Phase Transitions : Bulk and Interfacial Phase Separation. This HDR provides a synthesis of his research on nucleation, growth, and phase-separation mechanisms in out-of-equilibrium systems, with a particular focus on anisotropic interfacial effects
