Before PhD

2014-2016 : chemist in pharmaceutical company SC Biofarm SA, Romania, Quality Control and R&D departments (https://www.biofarm.ro/index-en.htm#slide-2)

Main responsibilities : formulation of pharmaceutical products (tablets, syrups), elaboration of documentation for transfer of products from pilot stage in production

Position

I’m currently PhD student (starting with oct. 2016) in Electrochemistry and thin films team. I’m working on ’ Direct and selective detection of bacteria using SERS (Surface enhanced Raman Spectroscopy)’ under the direction of dr. Anne-Chantal Gouget, prof. François Ozanam in collaboration with prof. Sabine Szunerits from IEMN-UMR CNRS 8520, Villeneuve d’Ascq. We develop biosensors for detection of bacteria and we use SERS for their spectroscopic identification.

My PhD subject is multidisciplinary, working at the interface of physics/chemistry/biology is an everyday challenge !
