We are specialists in the study of physicochemical processes at interfaces such as reactions involving charge transfer or molecular assemblies involving the formation of bonds of different natures.
Our approach consists of building model interfaces and developing operando characterization techniques for a nanoscale understanding of these processes under reaction conditions. It draws on our know-how in the manufacture of thin layers with controlled crystallinity, composition and morphology on different types of substrates, in grafting and molecular assemblies, and in the preparation of microelectrodes decorated with unique entities.
Our research is fundamental in nature but relates to various societal issues such as energy storage, chemical and biological sensors, eco-responsible coatings, green catalysis, magnetic memories, etc.
