I got a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of São Paulo (2012), where I also got a master’s degree (2015) in Germanates geometrically frustrated, where I worked in the characterization of magnetic materials at low temperatures and high magnetic fields.

Then, in 2016 I moved to Grenoble where I got my Ph.D. in 2020 at Institute Néel. The subject of my research was to measure the velocity of a single-electron excitation propagating at a tunable quasi-1D conductor. The conductor was defined by Schottky gates in the surface of a 2-dimensional electron gas (AlGaAs/GaAs). The propagation velocity reveals the collective effects that govern the physics in low dimensions.

After my Ph.D., I became a postdoctoral researcher at C2N, where I studied the valley Hall effect in bilayer graphene. To achieve that goal, I developed a tunable system where it is possible to control the crystallographic alignment between hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) and graphene within a single sample.

I joined the QCMX group in 2022 as a research engineer to explore the use of superconductor circuits to explore the quantum properties of materials and discover new electronic states of matter.
